During the 84th Legislative Session in 2015, Senate Bill 212 abolished the Texas Council on Purchasing from People with Disabilities and transferred oversight and administration of the State Use Program to the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC).  TWC’s administration of the program will undergo Sunset review in 2021 along with related Sunset reviews of the state’s other purchasing programs and overall contracting system.
